Oral Fixation--cylinder

This is the first part of a double-drawing assignment in which we have to do portaits of our hands, one holding a white cylinder (in this case, part of a tampon applicator thing) and a white cube in the other. I photographed myself, because mirrors suck.

So this is pastel and ink. I think it turned out pretty well considering I've never tried this media combo before. I'm still working on the second one, which is due on Thursday at 9 AM. Sigh.

Oh, and please excuse the line through the middle. I can usually match up parts pretty well, but for some reason this was dumb. I need a bigger scanner, methinks >_<.
