Description
The finished version of my Depp!Erik manip. Man. Took a lot of work. But I'm really proud of the way it turned out. So much copying, pasting, smudging and brightness/contrast-ing. But I like it ^^.

My goodness, this is nice work. With the eyes and the ring!
After reading the description, I got to say - yep, that's Depp's bone structure showing through, and the eyes and eye brows fit.
Weirdly enough: Yes, Jonny Depp is definitely a good actor, and his body type - thin rather than athletic - would fit with the descriptions by Leroux and then Susan Kay. (Although, got to say, I'm very tolerant about characters turning out more athletic in movie adaptions. Given that on average, Hollywood's fanservice is still heavily slanted towards the male viewers.)
But... I've seen Depp play too many (increasingly predictable) Tim Burton characters; that kind of spoils him a bit for me regardign Eric. Though I've got to say, seeing how much of a mercurial temper and madness he could infuse into him ... and Depp playing someone seriously dangerous ... interesting idea.
Oh, and those deep shadows under his eyes are a lovely touch, too!
